What keeps the atoms in a cell bonded together?

i mean what is that force or phenomenon that joins atoms in a cell together to form a bonded structure.. I know dna has the information about our characteristics, but what is that force that translates it into a cohesive bonded entity, creating a living cell, and a living creature..
