What DSLR Camera should i get (nikon d3100/ Nikon d80)?

Which one should i get? If i get the nikon d3100 ill get it in the kit with the 18-55mm new, but if i get the D80 ill get a 50mm lens with it but the body would be used. Only downside to the d80 is the fact that its a ccd (please explain the difference compared to cmos) and its only 10mp and the d3100 is 14 mp.
