Headache like pain on left side above neck?

I am having this dull but stabbing like pain in the back of my head. It is on the lower left side above my neck and behind my ear but still more central towards the middle (does that make sense?). It is like a stabbing pain that is radiating in towards the back of my eye. I have chronic migraines but I have never had a pain like this. Any help is appreciated thanks :]
