Why does my dodge ram 1500 year 2001 shut off while driving and displays "ccd" in the overhead display?

i recently put a new starter and the truck was running fine, and now the truck shuts off sometimes while i'm driving and in the overhead display (where it says how many miles is left in the gas tank) it reads "ccd" and the car will eventually start again, but it takes anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 minutes to turn back on.
