Confirmation Belief Question!?

Hello, i am 14 and i am going through confirmation this year. My confirmation is this weekend and i am supposed to go to confession which i think is totally gay, and i just don't believe in a lot of things that CCD Classes teaches in the Catholic religion. My Mother is arguing with me to make my mind up so she can schedule a confession date this week, or not get confirmed. I would most defiantly choose not to get confirmed, but i have a strong gut feeling when i do that, that it will make here cry and crap like that, which i don't care, but i don't want to live with the guilt. Any advice!!!
