What camera am I going to buy?

I'm planning between the Canon SD1400 and Canon 100 HS. I want SD1400 but the screen is 2.7, is there a big difference compared to 3.0? also, I have read some reviews that the SD1400 have better quality in taking stills, and the 100 HS is just mediocre. The 100 HS has CMOS sensor, and they say it is better than CCD. please give a good advice. Thank you =)
