How to be confirmed in the Catholic Church after First Communion?

hi karen.... if you want to continue practicing your Catholic faith once you reach adulthood you would have to be confirmed. it's just your adult acceptance of the Catholic understandings and praying the HOly Spirit enlighten and strengthen you as He did the apostle and Mary at the Pentecost. I will only assume you are still young - hence the very overkill drama on the "will i go to hell". i recommend highly educating yourself to the Scripture teachings and asking questions in your CCD classes. If you are over the age of 15 though often the parish will have you attend the RCIA (adult CCD) classes.
