What are the lines that radiate from the moon's south pole?

Those are valleys in the moon created by the impact from the asteroid that impacted the moon millions or possibly billions of years ago. The impact was so great that the huge valleys can be seen here on earth. If you look at Tycho closely with a telescope you can see that it is in fact a very deep impact. I can only image the friction and moon quakes caused by such a great impact.
