I want to upgrade my camcorder, any ideas?!?

I have a sony ccd trv-328, it's gotta be at least 6 years old....some of you might be like what the hell is that lol....but it's a decent camcorder but i want something that's up to date....night vision is a must!!! anything good that's under like $300 max??...doesn't really matter what brand either
